He wanted to be rid of the woman, but he didn't dare do the deed himself. So he hired mercenaries. They were cowards, just like him. Even with all their men and blades they wouldn't face her in honorable battle. They lured her into a trap, pretending that a young boy was in danger. And when she went to the lad's aid, they seized her." | |
