I. Thayne, a Dwarven lord from deep within the mountains of Tor'gyyl had a vision filled with brimstone and mayhem. Consulting with his seers they assured him that he had been visited by the gods themselves and called to a higher purpose. Years had passed since the dragons tormented the land with any significant force, but what if they were to return? Many groups had been formed in years long passed to deal with such a threat but they slowly disbanded as the world no longer begged for their aid. Thayne's heart ached and the visions tormented his soul. He knew he must leave his kingdom and pursue something more.
