Duke Piert De Chauntallion decided that the peasants who dwelled on the sprawling lands around his castle were growing rather slack. Some days they would stay in bed for hours after the break of dawn, instead of rising and working the land. In order to cure them of their laziness, he began to visit their homes at first light - armed with his Morning Sun. A light beating or two usually inspired the peasantry to rise and shine.
