Hurling those weighty projectiles has traditionally been seen as a masculine art, and in childhood girls are seldom offered such training alongside dwarven boys. But when Brorath took up a rune-ball in each hand, and managed to lob both of them further than any other dwarf had thrown his ball, her right to the weapons was acknowledged. | |
