XI. The jaws came down and Sasha braced herself with the blade, she looked for the weak point she knew existed in a flash and in the final moment as the jaws began to close down around her she thrust upward and felt the blade go deep into the skull, into the lizard's brain. Blood sprayed over her in great torrents but the creature's frame went limp and she fell freely from its mighty maw.
