| By ancient edict, a Grand Brewmaster is entitled to claim free ale from any dwarven brewery, tavern, fortress, barracks, or even private residence. For centuries this system worked tolerably well. However, since the title is hereditary, it was only a matter of time before it landed on someone without sufficient self-control. Such is the case with its current holder, who managed to drink his way through the entire settlement's supply in a single binge. His fellow Stonebound were displeased, and decided that whilst they couldn't lawfully deny him ale, they could beat him to death if he ever darkened their doorsteps again. Thus he departed, in search of fresh worlds to conquer. | |
