Those stupid monkeys would flee in panic, then spears and macuahuitls would pierce their backs. But the monkey warriors didn't break. Some of them trembled. Warm wetness ran down a few legs. But they held, and threw their spears. A dozen Rahucoatl rolled on the ground. The rest of the savage tribesmen shrieked war cries. The Ozomatli had found their courage! They'd dared to spill Rahucoatl blood! "Kill them all!" their leader said. "Spare none! Kill them and burn their lands to ash!"
